What's included
Wiring planned from the floor plans up
We wire new homes across Auckland from the first pre-wire through to final fit-off. We work alongside your builder, go through the floor plans with you, and install the meter board and switchboard.
Every circuit gets its own RCBO, so a fault on one circuit trips only that circuit, not the whole house. Before handover we test everything and give you your Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC).
We also do extensions and renovations, adding circuits and upgrading older switchboards so new work and existing wiring sit together safely.

Questions
Common questions
When should I bring an electrician into a new build?
As early as you can, ideally while the floor plans are being finalised. Planning lighting, power and data before the framing goes up is much cheaper than changing it once the linings are on.
What is an RCBO, and why one on every circuit?
An RCBO combines an RCD, which protects people from electric shock, with a circuit breaker, which protects the cable from overload. With one per circuit, a faulty appliance only cuts its own circuit instead of tripping half the house.
What paperwork will I get?
A Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the electrical work and an Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) confirming the installation is safe to connect. Keep them with your house documents.
Can you allow for an EV charger or solar later?
Yes, and it's easiest while the walls are open. We can size the switchboard and run cable now for a future EV charger, solar or battery, so adding them later is simple.
